Ryan Moved to Surgical Floor
It took seven hours (no, I’m not kidding) but Ryan is now moved to his room on the surgical floor. He seems to be doing well with the pain medications. We we’re told he will go out for surgery at 7:30 in the morning.
Update: Rod to be Surgically Implanted
Ryan is scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning. As always, we are on “hospital time”, and this is akin to the cable company. Meaning it might, or might not, happen in the morning.
Still Waiting in E.R.
Ryan was given more morphine and settled down after the last dose wore off. We continue to wait in the E.R. for the orthopedic to check in. He obviously doesn’t share our urgency to get Ryan comfortably situated. I’m starting to make some noise about this, and my volume continues to rise as time passes.
