What? Did I read correctly that Vantrease hoped “something positive would come out of this?” Like what? A fat check could visit Ryan’s mail box as a step toward a “positive” direction! I cannot think of anything any better at the moment, but I might be missing something — am I?
We remains with Ryan first in our thoughts, and keeping an eye on making sure those at fault pay.
Wow, I should proofread first… my apologies. Among other errors, please add replace “would” with “wouldn’t” in the last sentence.
Do they realize that it is not too late to attempt to make amends and begin paying up? It would go a long way… …There is no way they are going to win! Wondering if some kook lawyer is giving them bad advice. Still can’t believe that any attorney worth his/her salt would even take their case! It’s going to be a long year of waiting for us, but even longer for them as they wait for that gavel to fall! Guilty! Pay or stay — in jail!
Ken, never give into these losers. Keep fighting the good fight and we’ll have your back for the entire journey. When they attack you, they are attacking all of Ryan’s Army and we will not stand for it! They can try to move this trial to Mongolia and they’ll still lose the battle. The truth will prevail!
My feeling is if they had been responsive, apologetic, helpful and kind and not threatening (ie court parking garage) from the get-go, perhaps the blog posts would have been different. As I’ve said so many times, I’d be apologizing six ways from Sunday and doing everything I could to make it right. Maybe their lawyers told them not to say anything but if that were the case, I would think they would have made that known. Ken, keep up the good work. This is something that needs to be out there. I guess the truth hurts. Looks like Vantrese got himself another loser of a lawyer.I wonder what she would have to say if Vantrese and his band of thugs did something like this to her kid’s or a family member.I would bet my life’s savings she would have a different outlook.
Who runs to the defense of these thugs and actually tries to defend them. Perhaps they should have the restraint! Your posts are full of the love and emotion of a devoted Father. Who’s paying these attorneys? Perhaps the money would be better served helping the one they so brutally harmed. This attorney is clearly desperate for clients and press. People from all around the world are able to access detailed information about treatments, therapy and advancements in the management of brain injury. I also find it helpful to read about your feelings in dealing with the fear, trepidation and anxiety that comes with having a loved one in medically fragile state.
