My Daughter, Kari, is taking some college classes over the summer. She is wanting to make sure she not only graduates from WVU on time next May, but also is getting a minor in Business. She is just entering her senior year. Needless to say, I’m proud of her ambition and commitment. She has a strong GPA, and actually has a 4.0 in her major!
In addition to taking an online class in finance (for her minor), she is taking a speech class.
I wanted to share her latest assignment. It required her to give a two-minute “toast” on the topic of her choice. I was touched to find that she did it to me!
The thing is, I never would have known if she hadn’t done it on my laptop and then I accidentally come across it early this morning. I hope she’s okay with me sharing this (since she’s still asleep), but I’m just so damned proud that I’ll take the risk.
