I was able to update Ryan’s FaceBook page earlier, letting everyone who follows it know that he was out of surgery. He is doing well and all his vital signs are normal, with the exception of his pulse being slightly elevated. This makes sense since he is undoubtedly in some pain that the medications can’t knock-out completely. They just take the edge off.
Here’s a picture of him taken just a moments ago in Recovery.

So happy to see Ryan out of surgery. I hope that the pain management meds kick in full-throttle so his pulse can level off. I have been praying for Ryan and reading your updates. Please if you can, take a few moments while he’s in ICU and get some shut eye. I know it’s easier said than done, but that’s the worry-wart in me (and I’m sure all of us).
Regarding the pump, my brother-in-law (FFX CO policeman) is the firing arms instructor at the range out in Chantilly. I’m sure he’d let you go to town with it in there…. 🙂 🙂
Hugs to all of you~

Hi Ken, the first thing that came to mind was thank God Ryan is out of surgery and seems to be doing fine — and the second thing was — my goodness he is a handsome young man!
I don’t know how this can happen, but I pray both you and Sue will be able to get some rest. Mercy, I hope you can.
Love prayers hope and still believing
