In in short while a Podiatrist is visiting our home to take a look at Ryan’s feet. We are hoping to fit him with special footwear to reduce the likelihood of skin breakdown from rubbing against his shoes. He’s most vulnerable to this during therapy, especially the RT300 FES Cycle. Secondarily, we are interested in any bracing or other contraptions that can help reverse his foot drop.
Being pressed for time, I thought I might instead entertain you with a short video my daughter, Kari, took of me opening a birthday card she was passing along to me. Interested in hearing about Ryan’s appt. with podiatrist. As always I appreciate hearing about all the info. From what I can see Ryan’s hands look beautiful — relaxed, etc. — hopefully something good can be done for the foot drop issue and keeping skin healthy.
