We Got This!

"I tell him I tried. I tried to keep memory alive; I tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice & suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere. -E.W.

Ryan Home. The Work Begins.

January 31, 2012 by Ryan's Rally LLC 18 Comments

I had Ryan comfortably in his chair about an half-hour later and let him enjoy sitting-up for a few hours. Although he did sit occassionally while in the hospital, it was not for very long and not as upright […]

Ryan to get Blood Transfusion

January 30, 2012 by Ryan's Rally LLC 13 Comments

We made the decision to give Ryan two units of blood to get his body’s levels back to normal. With the stress of surgery, we felt it is to his advantage during recovery to have him feeling his best immediately.

January 30, 2012 by Ryan's Rally LLC 1 Comment

Ryan had a solid twenty-four hours and it appears he will be discharged home directly from ICU. I’m not sure when this will happen and there are a few loose ends that need tied up.
