The surgeon just met with us and the surgery went very well. The bone lined up nicely. He was just moved into recovery.

Ryan in Surgery
Ryan was taken to the operating room around 9:15 am. He seemed to be in good condition going in The surgery is expected to take “a couple hours”. Then another hour in recovery.

Surgery at Eight O’clock
Ryan is still on for surgery to have a metal rod driven into his right femur to repair a complete break of the bone. It’s scheduled for eight o’clock this morning. Ryan Moved to Surgical Floor
It took seven hours (no, I’m not kidding) but Ryan is now moved to his room on the surgical floor. He seems to be doing well with the pain medications. We we’re told he will go out for surgery at 7:30 in the morning.
