Wow. That’s about the best reaction I can convey… it’s how I’m feeling. Let me explain.
The nurse arrived last night and went right to work. As she began pulling Ryan’s medications together she was telling us how her car’s alternator crapped-out in the morning. Monday was the first appointment any repair shop could take her. Her car was not working.
Naturally, I was curious how she managed to make it to our home from Gaithersburg, MD. Her response still has me impressed. Granted, I thought she would tell me a friend had driven her. Maybe a family member. A taxi? Nah, that would be too expensive from Maryland. No matter, she made it to work and that’s what’s important.
She tells me the nursing agency Director drove her! This is a two-hour round trip. Further, they arranged another staff member to take her home this morning. Did I say I’m impressed? To me, this might be a game-changer with our ongoing nursing plans. If nothing else, it stopped me dead in my tracks and is making me reconsider everything. This was a very classy move, for sure.
It also gives me great confidence when the Director is paying personal attention to Ryan’s case. It let’s me know that she values our business and is working to make us satisfied.
