It took all of 5 months of not backing down (no thanks to Capital Home Health Care). There were hours spent on the phone. Yesterday, all the pushing and complaining paid off. We dug in our heels on this, like everything.
In the end, it finally arrived. Ah, that new exercise table smell… Speaking of Capital Home Health Care
I’ve wondered since we received the results of the qEEG if CHHC is feeling a bit foolish about discharging Ryan. Now, I truly believe Ryan’s case was stopped because I hurt someone’s feelings when I complained about their employees not being qualified to assess cognitive function. Further, I pushed for explanation on them deceiving me (trying to pin everything on insurance) with the reduction in visits. Anyhow, the last word I heard from them is they are quite suited to do this assessment and this is the reason.
So, there appears to be some disagreement between CHHC therapists and a team of neurologists on Ryan’s recovery.
Who to believe?
I think I’ll go with the professionals who were trained for over a decade and disregard CHHC who went to a weekend class (I presume).
