I need to tell you, I spent entirely too much time trying to figure out how to directly embed a video to a post.
All along, I knew exactly what I wanted to do for my video. It’s a ridiculous parody of the theme song from Spider-Man. I had Kari and Sue laughing when I first did it, totally at random. I threatened to video my parody and post it to the blog. It goes back about a month. I had put out a post asking for some house plant starts. One day I looked on the porch and it was covered with various plants people dropped off! I brought them in, one-by-one.
Also, I seem to have a knack for making-up song parodies on the spot. Not saying their good… just saying I can do it.
Well, you guessed it. I broke into song parody about a spider plant. Kari piped in, finishing it for me with “Look out, here comes the Spider-Plant”. Here’s a shortened version of it. Hope it gives you a laugh!
I can’t open the video 🙁
You are a hoot!!!
Bring it on, Ken! Live and unrehearsed! More, more… …
Ken, On a very loving note, keep your day job:). The plant is beautiful, the parody funny and the daughter embarrased. Well done on all accounts~
Glad no plant was harmed for the sake of making the video. Good looking plant!
O. My. Gosh!!!!!!!!!! hahahhaahhaaha I can’t tell you how much I needed to laugh tonight — it’s hard to make me laugh but you did it!!! Another talent of Ken Diviney!! My daughter is stressed out with (too much) school work, I just heard her laughing in the other room at this lol!! Thanks for the video Ken!!!
Ken Great voice:). Plants like to be talked to,your singing will make them really grow .My best to Ryan and how you put the video on the blog is amazing !!!!!!
Love it! But maybe you should try to get out more, Ken 😉
I do know that plants like for you to sing to them….makes them grow. lol SHSP
Yea, but doesn’t spider plant have radioactive roots? Not sure regular rules apply here (take a look overhead).
You probably know this, but in case you don’t.
House plants need the soil (soil that is exposed, in the pot) to be covered by about 1-1 1/2 inches of pebbles. (I get mine in the pet department at Wal-Mart). Otherwise, the wet soil is a breding ground for mold, and other undesirables.
