Kari
Did a week really just go by that fast? I mean it when I say it feels like she just came home yesterday. She had me laughing and smiling from the second she came bursting through the door. She’s good for me.
What’s great is she will be home for summer break in just six weeks. Final exam week ends May 9. I can’t wait! She’ll be home for over three straight months. The sad thing is, when she goes back as a sophomore in August, it’ll still feel like just yesterday that she came home for the summer.

Just an update on the rude treatment of the taxi company in Morgantown… nothing has come of it. Not sure what I’m talking about? Follow the link Morgantown Mayor Addressing Taxi Service.
Keepin’ it Short
Since this is the last day Kari is home for break, I’ll keep it brief today.

I feel your pain. Whenever Hannah leaves I feel as though part of me is gone. It takes me a little while to snap out of it. Thankfully it’s easy to stay in touch. Hang in there, Kari will be home before you know it.

Bye, bye, and hugs Kari, and have a safe trip. Spring and Winter breaks are good for families to re-connect, feel the love and eat home-cooked food. I won’t mention all the advice they get while they are home. LOL I suppose we text advice as well, huh? Look at that! The snow is all gone, and to think how I worried about our granddaughter driving home from a visit to Virginia Tech! God takes care of us, and I know He is taking care of Ryan and his family. Wishing you a peaceful day and whatever it takes to makes this a good day for all. Love

Oh, look at Kari!! This is a gorgeous picture of her, she is definitely in her element!! Ken, I know it must be heart wrenching to watch Kari go back to Morgantown. But before you know it, she’ll be coming home along with all the other college kids. Speaking of which, I know Ryan would love to have visits from his buddies!!! I hope Ryan’s friends will make a special effort to drop by to see him this summer. I know he would love to hear your voices!!! Still here, still praying — still believing in the miracle we are all watching unfold. Love & prayers! Paula

Kari, keep smiling…. your cheer goes a long way. The week with your family brings hope and comfort, peace and love. I know Ryan looks forward to your visits. I’m wishing you have a wonderful end of the semester and that you’re returning to school a little more refreshed. Have a safe trip back to Morgantown. Study hard, and before you know it, summer will be here! In the meantime, I’ll be praying for your family. Hugs.
