We Got This!

"I tell him I tried. I tried to keep memory alive; I tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice & suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere. -E.W.

Visiting Kari!

January 28, 2011 by Ryan's Rally LLC 14 Comments

Tomorrow I will be leaving early to spend the day at WVU with Kari. I’m so excited, I’m busting. I can’t wait to give her a big ole’ hug! We don’t really have any plans, but I’m sure shopping and eating out will fall into them somewhere.

Meanwhile, Sue is having a couple of friends over to keep her company. It also works out that the snow pushed back therapies to tomorrow. It’ll be great that Ryan will still get his stretching even while I’m gone. The therapist can also help Sue get Ryan into the stander right before they leave. So, a full day of therapy is workable.

I’ll absolutely keep up on this blog. Who knows, I might have an interesting story or two to tell while with Kari.

    What a blessed time this will be….father/daughter time……Sue/friends time…..
Change of scenery, perhaps less snow? I know you’ll all feel refreshed after hugs and family time! Can’t wait to hear the stories. Be safe and have fun. Welcome back to Mountaineer country!

Ken, praying for you to have a safe and comfortable ride to WVU, and a great time with Kari. Please give Kari a big hug from us and tell her we send our love!! Hope you find time to update your blog, otherwise — some of us will go into bad withdrawals…ahem, not me of course, but some others

This will be sooo good for you, Ken. Be careful & have a safe trip. Parts of Rt. 68 can get rough at this time of the year.

Hope you have a great time with Kari and I hope she gets to feeling better very soon. Be careful coming up Ken. We’re supposed to have snow showers tonight so it might be nasty if you’re coming through early. Still here and praying in Morgantown

I hear Kari is very excited to see you. I heard a rumor there may be a guest visitor with 4 legs, or is that just wishful thinking on my daughter’s part. I love going to WVU to visit. Have a great time. The kids are all looking forward to seeing you.
