We Got This!

"I tell him I tried. I tried to keep memory alive; I tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice & suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere. -E.W.

A Fun Night

February 11, 2012 by Ryan's Rally LLC 9 Comments

Kari showed me a great time last night. We started the night at a place called “The Sports Page” and never left. It was nice to be surrounded by so many of Kari’s and Ryan’s friends. I don’t think we stopped laughing the entire time. I met some other wonderful people too.

The word from back home is that Ryan is doing well. He had a decent night and Sue is running him through many of his therapies. from the sounds of things it appears Ryan will be doted on all weekend. I like that. I like it a lot.

Our plan here is Morgantown is to not really have a plan. We’ll just play it by ear. We might go to the basketball game at noon… or we might not. I would like to take Kari out for one or two nice dinners, but I hear some snow might be coming in today. For tonight, we will meet up with the same group of friends at the house for more laughter.

But right now the house is quiet and peaceful. I am the only one awake (and it will likely stay this way for a few more hours). I was able to scrounge some coffee and a mug, so I’m enjoying this time. I might even treat myself to a long, hot shower.

Hello Ken, reading your post was a great way to start the day!! Whatever you and Kari decide to do, I know it will be non stop fun. Looks like you’ll have some frosty weather tonight in Morgantown. Ryan and Kari’s friends sound like great people — I can just picture you all laughing the entire time : )

Praying for safe travels around Morgantown and a continued great weekend for you and Kari. Sounds like Ryan and Sue are enjoying a good weekend too — awesome!!

    Love, hugs, & happiness
