A few things are in-the-works. You know, I’m not even sure why I just said that. Isn’t that always the case? Oh, well.
For one, Ryan’s urine sample went out yesterday for culture. It takes several days to grow out, so we’re looking at Thursday or Friday to know the results. Second, a whopping 18.5% incremental baclofen reduction was approved (to 110, from 135mcg). This will happen on January 26th, bringing this year’s absolute decrease to 29%. The following decrease will easily bring him below the 100mcg psychological threshold. Third, the Jacuzzi will be brought on the patio (and connected to the electrical panel) next week. I’m also asking if they might bring in more fill-dirt to ease the slope away from the patio. One corner has at least a four-foot drop that could cause Duke to plummet to his death. Poor Duke!
Sue and Kari spent a great time together over the weekend. From what they are willing to tell me, it involved a movie (Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), at least one trip to the mall, grocery shopping, and eating out. I’ll admit, I was jealous every time they sent me a picture with huge smiles on their faces.
One highlight for Sue was getting carded when she ordered a drink with dinner. This doesn’t shock me too much (notice how well I played that?). What does is that she actually ordered a drink! Woo hoo! Party Animal!

Ken- Please tell Sue that she rocks! Getting carded is a long lost dream of mine-
“Bow-Wow” Bungee cord??? I just made it up, but it sounds like something one would see on a late night infomercial, huh?
Blessings to the Diviney family!!!

Ken, Great picture of Sue and Kari. Glad they had a nice weekend .Hoping that culture doesn’t show UTI, but you are on it so quick, thank goodness!! It’s amazing how baclofen is being reduced ,now we need some alertness from our boy Ryan…Go Ryan, we’re cheering you on ! Hope more dirt is put in so poor Duke won’t be at risk..Wishing you all a calm day. Love Gail

Hi Ken, lots going on!! Glad to know that the drop will be fixed. You mentioned the possibility of doing some landscaping around the patio — hopefully there are some bushes/plants that don’t attract too many bees that can be planted there. Somehow we have to keep the bees and squitters away from Ryan.
I am so happy at how well the baclofen reduction is going. Do you notice that Ryan is not as “sedated” as the dose is lowered?
The picture of Kari and Sue is gorgeous — they are two beautiful women, but it’s their smiles that radiate their beauty. I’m not surprised Sue was carded!! When will it be your turn to visit Kari?
Thinking of you all and hoping this week is a good one. Are you still testing for UTI and is there any sign it might be going away? I really hope so, Ken. But just the fact you got on it so quick, as always, is a big plus.
Sending you love, hugs, prayers and good thoughts today, Ken!
