The crew was already at my house before eight o’clock to begin, what will likely be, the last day of the concrete project. It’s my understanding that they will begin pouring sometime around nine o’clock. I’m really excited to see the finished product!
I had to run outside earlier to bury a cable TV/internet coaxial cable. The original line was cut during excavation earlier in the week and the cable company put in a new feed from the street. It’s not buried yet (it can take two weeks to have this done), but it intersects the pathway from the driveway and this just makes sense to get it under now.
Waiting for the concrete...
For the holiday, Sue and I decided to get a patio heater as our gift to each other. Hey, it’s just as good as the VitaMix we gave last year.

As you might tell, it’s really not for us. I’d say Ryan had all influence in that decision. I must say, it will extend the time we can take Ryan outside throughout the year. It covers a twenty-foot area with heat. I look forward to being able to take him outside to both relax and give therapy.
It’ll be nice for me too.

Ha ha ha!!! Bikini for Ryan’s shower party, but we are going to dress up for the patio — shoes and everything!! The Chick Magnet christening will be formal — long gowns and tuxedos. Just you wait… …we have dreams — and hopes — and always prayer and love.

As you often say, Ken, it’s the little things that can add so much to our lives. Thank you to all the generous and kind souls who made this happen. You will love the Patio Heater – it’s amazing just how well it works, we had purchased one two years ago when our summers seemed to be non-existant. It’s amazing how they work. Hope Ryan is doing well and that you have gotten some much needed rest!!
