IBRF Skype Call
It’s just over two weeks since the IBRF team visited Ryan to perform their evaluation. This afternoon, the results will be covered on a Skype conference call. The agenda will mirror the IBRF Visit Recap I published here on the website the day after.
We requested and received (yesterday) an advanced copy of the qEEG report. At first blush, it doesn’t look promising. Not at all. I hope I’m just missing something or failed to fully teach myself how to read this report. I guess I’ll know in just a few hours. At least I’m ready for the likely devastation…
Other Updates:
- Concrete Project. I’ll meet with the contractors mid-morning for a final review. The crew is scheduled to arrive tomorrow and complete everything by Friday. This is all weather-dependent… and, it’s forecast to rain all day tomorrow.
- Kari & Sue in NYC. Sue needed to go to New York City on business for a couple of days. Kari decided she would go up as well and window shop during the day and go out with her mom at night. Here are some photos she sent me from last night:

Praying for the best.
Praying for the best. Kari looks like a natural in NYC!
Still hear. Still listening. Still hoping. Still praying.
Keeping you all in prayer, and for better results than you think will be. Of course, progress when it is slow….is beyond slow.. I always pray that you will see each day as a new beginning and not have any burnout.
Thoughts, prayers, tears and love, Annie
Hi Ken,
Kari belongs in front of a TV or movie camera : )
For Ryan: I’m just keeping the faith; I will never stop believing in him.
For you & Sue and all your family: Love & prayers always, and whatever else I can do.
Ken- by now you have had your Skype session. I am sitting here praying it isn’t as bad as you initially thought. Bracing myself for any news you feel free to share with your “family.”
Kari is simply stunning. I have a son about her age. Hmmmmm…
Please post as soon as posible. My prayer’s for Ryan and family continue.
Ken, Beautiful pictures of Kari ,Hope they are enjoying NYC . Thinking of you all and wishing for the best ,there’s always HOPE. We will never give up, ever! Say hi to Ryan and give him a big hug Love gail
I hope your instincts are wrong, Ken, and that it isn’t, as you say, devastation. Whatever the results of the tests, we will never give up hope, and we will never stop praying for Ryan. We love all of you and are with you always in spirit. Love
I hope the call and all the information it contains goes well. Will be looking for update!
Praying for you all.
I can only imagine that this report is very difficult to read. I’m sure that the experts are able to see trends and nuances that us layman are not trained to see. Keep the faith Ken, you are on a long and difficult road with your son Ryan, prepare yourself for asking specific questions, question any changes they do see and the implications regardless of what they are. Doctors tend to “talk over” us, but I know that you and Sue are not afraid to ask for explanations. Good luck today, I will be thinking about you all.
Will be praying extra hard today…hoping for good results!!
I pray for Ryan and each of you.
God has a master plan for Ryan.
I question how these boys were raised and the values or lack there of that their parents instilled in them.
How ashamed their parents must feel to have raised such monsters.
That’s part of the problem, the parents are not ashamed at all~
Thinking of you all. Today. And every day.
We are lifting everything on today’s agenda up in prayer, Ken. Thank you for sharing the photos of your beautiful girl enjoying some Mom time in NYC. It was really wonderful to see her enjoying some special time with you on Sat night at Ryan’s big event 🙂 Your whole family is so loved… we hope and pray that you are pleasantly surprised with some positive news from the IBRF team today. Hugs all around <3
So many people love all of you guys.
