At some point this morning the website will reach 900,000 views (we’re just around 1,000 away) since I took it over in mid-December of 2010. 900,000! That’s a nine, with five zeros! Nine-hundred thousand!

Ryan’s in a Rough Patch
The past two nights and all day yesterday were not comfortable ones for Ryan. Something’s bothering him. His heart rate is about twenty beats per minute higher than his baseline and his respiration is up just a tad. Fortunately, there is no accompanying fever or blood pressure concerns.
I’m Not Alone… Thank You
It was nice to see Ryan have a peaceful night. The antibiotic has the urinary tract infection in retreat. Ryan’s pulse stayed around 60 the entire time. His oxygen saturation never went below 98%. A well deserved night of rest, indeed.

UTI Confirmed
I already (mostly) knew Ryan had a urinary tract infection. All doubt was removed when the culture results came in this morning. He’s positive for klebsiella, a bacteria that is resistant to multiple antibiotics. It’s good we knew this and can target it with the proper medicine. Ryan will go back on antibiotics today.
