So much for refining the routine yesterday… In order to accommodate therapy coming in the afternoon (sometime between 2:00 – 4:00-ish), I was making slight adjustments all morning. The intent was, with enough changes, I could create a window of time for this therapy while being flexible to the non-specific arrival time.

After 14 days in ICU, finally, we are home! Ryan was transported from the hospital around noon yesterday. I promptly dressed him in his clothes and put him in his chair. We brought him into the kitchen as Sue and I sat at the table and refined the daily care and medicine schedule. It took […]
ICU: Day 13.
Yesterday was uneventful. This is a good thing. A very good thing, indeed! Unless something was overlooked it appears Ryan will be returning home later today. Two weeks of ICU is exhausting.
ICU: Day 12. Good Riddance 2010.
Our family wishes (nearly) everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! As of now, we are still looking at Sunday for discharge. Although Ryan’s care is amazing and the people at Loudoun Hospital treat us great, we are excited to get home.
