Exterior Painting
Last month I told everyone how we were cited by our Homeowners’ Association for our exterior trim needing painted. I am happy to report that, as I type this, the work has been scheduled. They will start by pressure washing the house. Mary Mitchell did the leg work on this (like she did when our water main ruptured), enlisting Paintworx and Managenet, Inc.
Even better news is this is considered a gift by these two wonderful companies.They are picking up the entire cost of the job. Please, if you ever need related work, all I can ask is you use them. Any company that gives back to it’s community (or helps my son) has my undying loyalty.
Basement Project Gets Huge Boost
Bryan Tiplady, a longtime part of my children’s lives, took on the basement renovation project a few weeks back. He came through big time on the interior work!
Another company with an incredible community reputation asked to be involved in the project. Being involved puts it too mildly. They want to do EVERYTHING on the interior. This includes making the bathroom much larger, finishing out Ryan’s eventual room, widening doors, electrical upgrades, lighting, plumbing, framing, drywall, finish work, transfer tracks, flooring, HVAC, kitchenette, and so much more. Who are they? Michael & Son Services!
A company that cares
You really need to see their Michael & Son Cares initiative. Video after video of how they help people in crisis or those fallen on hard times. A company rooted in faith and service, all the way up to the owner, Basim. Really, they want nothing in return for doing this. So, to me, they deserve everything.

I have known the owners or Managenet and Paintworx for many years. No finer folks in the world. Many local athletes owe these guys a debt of gratitude. Bob, Ted and company have provided the foundation upon which Ashburn has built a championship program and are instrumental to our continuing success.
Michael and Sons have been great to work with and are stepping up to the plate in a big way. They have the right heart and substantial resources…. a powerful combination.

I’m glad to see a company like Michael and Son is there for Ryans family.I worked for them back in the late 80’s when they were just father and son. I wish I could have done more for the family when we did the water service but my hands were tied….I wasn’t the owner. Way to go Michael and Son.Thats what respectable companies do. That so many companies are offering to help without taking anything in return is not only wonderful, but a Godsend. Truly, God loves you and your family very much to surround you with such magnificent companies. Even the people who have “rallied” around your family are Heaven-sent as well. Sometimes when we are feeling overwhelmed at all that is happening, wondering just how we are going to accomplish what needs to be done, I refer to this simple verse: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” ~~Philippians 4:19

Wonderful news all around. Proud to be an Ashburn resident for the last 20yrs. I will need to have some work done here in the near future, I will call Michael & Son for sure.

What a coincidence — Phoning Michael and Sons is on our “to-do” list today for some long-needed plumbing services. We have had them here for electrical service, and I simply cannot say enough for them. They are the greatest! Very qualified and the very best!
