Last Year: Day 3 Trial
On the final day of the trial, before the jurors went into deliberations, I was an emotional and physical wreck. I was hoping the jury would come to a quick verdict, but knew this was not at all likely. The trial ended too late in the day and I could see the jurors were drained….

Last Year: Day 1 Trial
For the sake of those readers who might not know the history, I thought I’d run the media accounts of the trial from exactly on year ago. On day one, it is clear that May sucker-punched Ryan when he wasn’t looking and Vantrease repeatedly kicked him in the head “like punting a football”.
