A short while ago I shot a three-minute live video of our “Getaway” (in remote West Virginia). This is where I spend a lot of time with Ryan. Especially on weekends.
Mainly, I did it to try Facebook Live. It worked, but I sure need to practice my camera skills! Truth is, I learned a lot about how it all works… through my failure to prepare and my pitiful live-production skills.
I can safely say, it will only get better. My only salvation is that I was wise enough to film Ryan toward the end.
Immediately below is the (Facebook Live) video which you can watch suffer through without leaving this website, but it would be extremely helpful to me if you would view it on Ryan’s Facebook page. That allows me to see how Facebook Analytics — and its other tools and distribution — work.
I expect using this knowledge to live stream upcoming events (like broadcasting the annual Golf Tournament in June, and my college roommate, John Maletta, in late-summer bicycling for Ryan’s benefit (this might need to come with a “For Discerning Audience Only” alert!

What a lovely place for Ryan and the rest of your family to spend time. Your filming was fine. I particularly liked the dog in the beginning. Seems like he/she came out, stopped for his/her time on camera, then mosied on by. Ryan looks peaceful and comfortable here. I hope you have wonderful weather and a relaxing time.
