We Got This!

"I tell him I tried. I tried to keep memory alive; I tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice & suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere. -E.W.

Country-Wide TV Broadcast: This Weekend

May 21, 2015 by Ryan's Rally LLC 10 Comments

In the upcoming month, you’re almost certain to see segments about Ryan. This is all due to Ironman, Frank Fumich, and his epic 3,000 mile bike trip — Race Across America (RAAM) — across the United States in Ryan’s honor. Frank will depart from the Pacific Ocean border town of Oceanside, California on June 16th. Over the following twelve days he will pedal 250 miles each day, until he reaches Annapolis, Maryland. You can read about this (and support Frank/Ryan, if you can) by clicking here.

I’m a husband, father, business owner, and ultra-endurance athlete/adventurer. I believe the human spirit soars when challenged, and so I’ve been traveling the world searching for the most difficult challenges out there. I’m not a professional athlete, and most every goal I set out to accomplish pushes me past my limits…where I hope to learn what’s deep inside me. I also have a passion for helping others, and like combining epic events with a worthy cause that has touched my heart. I think pushing my own limits and helping others at the same time, makes this a worthy pursuit.Frank Fumich

I’ll let you in on a secret. After completing the course, Frank does not intend to stop there! More on that later, because he asked that I keep hush on what he’s doing.

I suspect it will be epic.

Let’s just say, he’ll bring even more attention to Ryan and other people (who might not want the attention). Beyond this, Washington, D.C. mega-station WJLA (ABC affiliate) is interviewing us next week for, yet another, future broadcast!

Since this weekend’s segment will broadcast on many stations across the United States, I cannot give you a definite date/time for where you live. What I can do is give you a list of the stations (so far) that will air it.

Frank, you are amazing. I have never personally seen someone take on such a monumental and life changing challenge like this, except for Ken and Ryan. You are all my heroes and I want you to know I am still here and still praying. Your strength helps me keep the faith — what may seem impossible, is possible if you keep believing. I 100% believe in you.

Love and prayers today and every day

I second everything sweet Rita said. Ryan will always stay relevant when you have wonderful men like Frank Fumich and Greg Wells on his side! Ryan, we promised that we were here for the long haul and we meant it. Ken, Sue, Ry, and Kari, you are loved beyond measure. XXOO
