Exactly one week ago this morning I was invited to do a radio interview on WAJR (Morgantown). I was happy to do this because the people of Morgantown are wonderful in all they’ve done for Ryan and my family. They are compassionate, good people who are outraged by what happened. Simply stated, they treat Ryan like one of their own. My respect for their community, and the state of West Virginia for that matter, is immense. I was also eager to do the interview because it keeps Ryan relevant. To listen, just click on the following link, 4-17-12 WAJR Morgantown and the player will open in another window.
Per the “norm”… well done Ken, well done. I am honored to be standing by your family’s side. In hope, in prayer and with love,
Keri, My Frankie and Family
Ahh I can’t get it at home either…all I get is the arrow, but when I click on it, nothing happens. Does it take a bit to load? Maybe I’m not being patient enough ha ha!
Just checked it and it worked instantly for me. It a basic mp3 file so I’m wondering if you don’t have a media player. I’ll email the file to you. Let me know if it works.
If anyone else is having an issue, would you please let me know.
Ken,
It’s difficult to put into words how much admiration I have for you. As I struggle through the stresses of presentations and finals, I am reminded of the challenges you face on a daily basis and soon my problems seem insignificant. You are a courageous, selfless, dedicated man that many of us look to for inspiration and strength. Myself, along with all of Morgantown, are sending our positive ‘vibes’ and well wishes for you, Ryan, Sue, and Kari. Never give up…
Great inteerview. Thanks for posting the link. Hope Ryan is feeling well and has restful evenings.
Hi Ken,
My silly computer here at work won’t let me listen to this. Will try at home. In the meantime give our boy a hug from the Liberty family!
SHSP, NGA
Well done, good and faithful father.
Good interview, Ken, very well presented and with no rancor. Way to go, Ken. Doesn’t mean you have no rancor…just that you didn’t allow that to become the focus of the interview. You are a good and precious Dad/advocate for Ryan, he will ALWAYS be relevant, Ken. It would definitely be a blessing if anyone listening, would be encouraged to give their support to Ryan–in any way they could. You handled it beautifully. My awe and deepest respect to you and The Team. Love always, Annie
Hi Ken,
What an excellent interview!! It does hurt, though, to hear about everything you and your family have been through, and especially Ryan.
I feel so honored to know your family — you all are truly strong, courageous and determined people, and you don’t give up — ever. We’re not going anywhere — ever — we’ve got your back and we’ll stand by you no matter what. Don’t ever forget that.
To the people of Morgantown — please accept my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all your kindness and generosity. I have such great respect for you for everything you’ve done to help Ryan and his family. Thank God for you.
I pray you and Ryan have a good day, Ken. I’m still believing every day in Ryan’s continued recovery. Thank God he has you, Sue and Kari.
Love, hugs & prayers, Paula
