It’s really just too beautiful for me to try to explain with words. The landscaping around our patio and walkway make me feel I have Ryan in a park. So, I’ll just get right to it with photos I selected. The upper-left is the before picture. The remainder are after. dsafg
Our deepest appreciation to all those who made this space for Ryan to enjoy. It’s more than we ever imagined. I will soon add a page to the website with both the good and bad companies we experienced. Obviously, those that made this patio and landscape come together will get accolades.
Beautiful!! You will need some help with weeds in the mulch area. Let me know when they start popping up and I will help with that!
Beautiful. It does look like you’re in a State Park! I’m sure you and Ryan will be out enjoying it all summer.
Incredible! Just beautiful!
fantastic!
Wow! Wow! WOW!!! How stunning! How compassionate! This is most certainly a case of doing something because it is the “right” thing to do!!!! Enjoy it all!
Ken, It’s beautiful and looks so peaceful! So glad Ryan and you all have a place outside to sit and try to relax. So sorry about nursing situation…. really horrible!! Please keep us posted and sure hope someone caring and loving is found. Tell Ryan I said hello and have a calm day . Love Gail
Ken, Sue and Family. The landscaping is just beautiful and brings a smile to my face. š So sorry it is over-shadowed by the dismal nursing situation, but take heart that we are praying for it to be resolved — in a good way.
Somehow being outdoors seems to put things in a better light and help us to be more positive in our thoughts. Enjoy the patio and surroundings. Thank you to the company/s that made it all possible.
SHSP, NGA Love
Beautiful! Is that the Chick Magnet I see in the corner of a picture by the garage?
It is! Just like a woman to notice it’s sexiness. Don’t pretend like you’re not hot and bothered.
I’d like to give that a thumbs-up. How can we possibly resist the Chick Magnet? š
These pictures bring tears to my eyes, they are so beautiful. God bless all the generous and kind souls who helped to create this beauty for the Divineys. Thank you so much!!!
Ken, the nursing fiasco is getting worse? What’s going on?
This is just a random “side note” to anyone from the baby boomer generation who is reading Ken’s blog — if you think it’s difficult now to find reliable, quality caregivers, just wait until all of us start getting older — already agencies cannot respond to the needs of current clients. I foresee lots of trouble ahead unless many more people decide to become trained in healthcare.
Okay, now back to Ryan — you know, he deserves only the best. What happened to him is sickening — shocking — so very, very unfair. Through no fault of his own he is now sitting in a wheelchair depending on his Mom and Dad for *everything,” and missing out on so much in his young life. To any nurse, healthcare professional, people who care — what can we do to find top level care for Ryan?
This situation with the healthcare agency bailing on the Divineys is just sad. If you have suggestions to help, please let Ken know.
Ken, our hearts are with you. This is yet another obstacle to tackle and overcome. Praying for God’s help to find the best people to take care of Ryan.
Hugs & Love, still hoping, praying and believing
Paula
