I’m having a wonderful time with my daughter, Kari. We had a laid back evening. We went to eat at one of her favorite restaurants, the Boston Beanery, then went back to her house for most of the night. Well, most of my night anyhow.
I’m not at all sure what time the girls ended their night. I fell asleep on a couch around one o’clock. I was watching a documentary on World War II. When I woke this morning, Kari had covered me with several blankets. She’s so sweet to me.
I’ll expect we’ll go shopping today. She was clearly hinting at needing a pair of boots. I suppose she does, too. Winter in Morgantown is pretty messy and cold.

Ken, I hope that you and Kari had a wonderful time today and that you’re feeling rejuvenated and energized. I think it’s so great that she has that effect on you… and it’s also great that you have such an incredible relationship with your daughter 🙂

Another big “WooHoo!” for you, catching up on some sleep as well as spending lots of QT with your girl. Karen dragged me boot-shopping with her last weekend too 🙂 Have fun but be safe tonight — you’re not quite as young as those college kids, you know 😉

So happy to see you having a great time with Kari! There’s something incredibly special about a daddy and his little girl. She may be a college sophomore but she’ll always be your baby! Enjoy yourselves!!!

Yay!!! Enjoy every minute with your wonderful daughter, Kari. You’re all so deserving of such “normalcy” and fun. I’m overjoyed that you’ve had these last 24 hours to just “be” a dad enjoying his daughter’s company. May your spirit be rejuvenated for days to come.
With love and in prayer,
Keri, My Frankie and Family

So glad you are having a good time. We know Kari’s is taking good care of you. Hope the weather warms up a bit there like it is here. It’s supposed to be 66+ by afternoon after an overnight low of 31.
Wishing you much luck shopping, especially for boots for the snows of Morgantown.
Love and prayers for a safe trip home.

Have fun shopping, was there last week for a day and took my boy out. He also NEEDED a few things along with groceries, only thing he didn’t hint around about it, just outright went for it. Have fun, its funny how the cashiers at Kroger can tell when a parent is paying and helping shop, I would love to know what they are thinking. Probably, “Oh look this kid is buying real food this week instead of junk and beer”. Don’t forget the game at 12noon.
