We Got This!

"I tell him I tried. I tried to keep memory alive; I tried to fight those who would forget. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. There is so much injustice & suffering crying out for our attention. We must take sides. We must interfere. -E.W.

A Birthday Wish

June 25, 2011 by Ryan's Rally LLC 33 Comments

That’s right. It’s my birthday. Twenty-four hours of attention. I had to restrain myself from making a video in self-celebration… in my birthday suit. So far I am holding out, but can make no promises. No siree, Bob, no promises from me. It just seems so natural.

So, I just want one thing from you today. Please promise me that you will ALWAYS keep Ryan close to your heart. Come to the blog and check in on how he’s doing. I mean it… pinky swear if you must. If you will do this then my gift from you is delivered. Today, my birthday, is just that… a day. Ryan is a life.

    Crap.

Sorry for this belated birthday greeting, but I have a good excuse… really: I ventured out of town this past weekend to see Tony Bennett. Is that good enough?

If it isn’t, I apologize. My thoughts will always be with you and the fam…

    …and Tony 😛

Happy Belated Birthday, Ken! We were in Columbus, Ohio for a family wedding, but Ryan and the Diviney Clan were in my thoughts & prayers everyday, as always. Add me to the list of many friends who grant your birthday wish — Ryan will always be in my heart, as will you, Sue & Kari.
Here’s to the year of miracles!!

YGR prayer partner sends a birthday greeting a day late! Or maybe you’re older now so it takes two days to celebrate!
Anyway, know that Ryan and your family are in my daily prayers.

Happy Birthday Ken! We think of Ryan all of the time. He is on our minds and absolutely close to our heart, like our very own. I pray for him often and we will never forget about him. You can count on that! I check posts at least once daily. I may not always post, but I am there and you can count on that too.

So your birthday wish…well you got it…and you really didn’t even have to ask!
    Love, Peggie

Happy Birthday Ken, we almost share the same birthday, mine is Monday. I was happy to see the urinal on your wish list. Remember it takes good time as much as anything. Even now we hit and miss a few. It’s helpful if he kinda lies on one side a little. Keep the bottom of the urinal down low. Nothing worse than hitting the target ans then spilling it out. Always be patient. You of all people know we never get what we want as quick as we want it. He’s working his way back though. Stay Strong!
