The Colangelis says
My choice is I like all the pictures. Praying for Ryan to have a restful weekend and continue healing.
Keith says
I would say A, B or D because Ryan was so Happy in those pictures and I am like Paula Never Giving Up! Prayers Gone Ryans Way and Your Whole Family! God Bless
Cass says
I vote ‘A’. Sorry, Ken, I love Kari. 🙂

B…hands down. This is the first time I have wrote on your blog, but have followed your story (like many others) since I saw it on the Today Show. As I read through your blog one evening with my innocent 8 and 6 year old boys sitting beside me and my 2 year old little girl in bed I sobbed! It is such a scary world out there and you never know when your life is going to change… forever! I also had to comment b/c after seeing your pictures and noticing you had a dog named Tucker I had to chuckle. I have a son Tucker, when we named him my late mother in law said “what that is a dogs name” and since then we have come across a few Tucker’s…. most of them being dogs 🙂 Your dedication to your son amazes me everyday, it is a circle of life and one day he will be well enough to take care of you. Hang in there, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

D- for

I love all of the pictures so much and thank you Ken for posting all of them. I would love to see more. I choose D. Sue looks so happy with her “babies”. Still here, always will be. xoxoxoxoxo
Lynne Mandel says
I viewed them all, and guessing so many did! 🙂 But D is my favorite…a flashback to happier times…I’m sure this one makes everyone smile. SHSP…
Jen says
I am going for A, with B being a close second. The joy in Kari and Ryan’s face at funland draws you in. The quote of more bored than scared makes you want to look at B. Give our boy a hug and kiss from all those that are still here and still praying. Love, Jen

This is why I don’t like award shows. I could say C for obvious reasons but I love the picture of Sue and the kids, and the one of you and Ryan is priceless. Sorry not much help.

B Father and Son
With you being the author of this blog, I felt so drawn to just see you and Ryan together.
Rita says
If I have to choose just one, I vote for D because it captures your whole family smiling for you, Ken 🙂 And, as Karen said, it also captures their personalities so beautifully.
Karen Tiplady says
I like D. Ryan’s mischievious look is priceless. Sue is beautiful and smiling with joy while simultaneously sporting a knowing look that Ryan is likely embellishing on the story that Kari looks like she is not buying.
Jenn says
B….love it….
Helen Causin says
B
Mike says
Definitely D
Beth Wilmoth says
My guess is that “A” was the most viewed pic. Curiosity got the best of me to see what Ryan and Kari were holding in their hands. All of the pictures are special…Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Christa S says
My guess is B. It’s such a great picture. And I agree with Jo Hobbs, ‘ like father, like son.’
Gail Doyle says
I like D. But also like the one of Ryan and you They are all good Ken. Give that boy a big hug :). Gail
Nicole says
Of these, D – everyone looks like they’re having such a good time. But I especially liked the one of Ryan and Sue, it made me laugh I thought it was adorable.
nic says
B. But A comes in a close second. 🙂
Paula says
Oh — every one of these is good — too hard!! C is precious because it’s got the girls surrounding Ryan with love, and it’s got DUKE — no fair, because any picture with Duke automatically sends the cute meter to extra high. I myself admit to pulling up pictures with Duke in them just to gaze at his cuteness. Here is the thing — picture B has a Dad with his teenage son riding through a haunted house. Question: how many teenage sons will do this with their Dad? Answer: Only teenage sons who feel so close to their Dad that they would enjoy doing something silly and fun like this. That’s why it affects me so deeply — it’s the “innocence” that’s still there, even as a grown young man — he is still his Dad’s boy ……… you can see this in the other photos too, with sweet Kari and Sue …but this picture captures it very well. So if any of the pictures reach inside and pull at my heart until it’s almost unbearable, it’s this one……..and darn it, he’s still our Ryan; Lord in heaven, please bless this beautiful son, and his incredible sister, and his utterly devoted and gifted Mom and Dad. Not giving up, and still here, still praying.
Lynne Mandel says
Paula, you make me cry EVERY time! Thank you for so eloquently saying what so many of us are thinking.
Jo Hobbs says
And me, too, Lynne! Paula is such a fantastic writer! You should get a copy of her book of poems. Actually, everyone should!
Jo Hobbs says
I think Paula posted her E-mail address here before regarding prayer meetings. Paula?
Nat says
My guess is D. They all 3 look so happy!!! =)
Natalie says
All of them. Still here
Susanne says
I’ll say C. For all the dog lovers out there, it’s amazing how they want to be right in the middle of the action. And who knows what an impact Duke has/is making on Ryan’s recovery.
Jo Hobbs says
My vote is for B, entitle it “Two Peas in a Pod,” or “like Father Like Son.” You two look so much alike!
Jo Hobbs says
I will admit, this was a difficult choice since I thought each photo was so touching. Still here.
Ms. Blasé says
I’m guessing B (the haunted house).
