Tomorrow I will be leaving early to spend the day at WVU with Kari. I’m so excited, I’m busting. I can’t wait to give her a big ole’ hug! We don’t really have any plans, but I’m sure shopping and eating out will fall into them somewhere.

Meeting with Hospital Went Well. Kari has Ear Infection.
For those who remember the fiasco in the emergency room two weeks ago, and the fallout to Protective Services, the follow-up meeting was held this morning. I met with the Medical Director and Nursing Director, with the assistance of the Patient Advocate.
37-1/2 Hour Shift Ends
After 37-1/2 hours, I finally have relief! In the form of both Sue and the nurse. I’m, for the most part, wiped out. I’m dirty, tired, hungry, and just generally cranky. You know, just how I always am. ๐ And, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
Sue Home after 14 Hours.
Sue finally made it home at 6:00 AM this morning. Remember, she left work at 4:00 PM yesterday. She was stuck on the G.W. Parkway (Washington, D.C.) for 14 hours! That’s a one and a four.
